The scores to the right indicate the corresponding number of paces. In a line pupils either move forwards or backwards the correct number of steps when you call a verb out from the selection. With practice it works brilliantly to video pupils in small groups and then allow them to analyse their videos, finding out which tenses they have issues recognising and responding to.
